Lebanon Evacuees Denied Duty Free Status by the Government of Ethiopia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided that evacuees from Lebanon will not be exempt from import duty when they arrive in Ethiopia

No Ethiopian has made it home until our press time on Saturday night. The Ministry, however, has suspended the right to import their goods duty free, a privilege Ethiopians residing overseas have been entitled to since 2004 if they moved back after five years or more.(More...)
