There is a difference between slowly evolving and lack of design direction. To be honest, I'd err on the side of the latter for Audi, as, for all it is a clichéd saying, they really do all look very, very similar. They're aiming to compete with Mercedes and BMW -- both of whom have exceedingly individual designs for each model -- which highlights Audi's lack of individuality... I don't know, they're just boring to me, and to plenty others, by the look of it.

It's using the shell of the current S3 Sportback. Simple. As an Audi driver, an RS3 is pointless, devaluing the brand by offering something too premium for too small a price, just buy an RS4.
