Audi A4 Review

Luxury and attention to detail spring to mind when thinking about the Audi A4; it has undergone somewhat of a transformation over older models, gaining a more 'grown up' feel in the process. The handling is superb, giving the Audi A4 a very 'sure-footed' feel, which is sure to impress. Like the entry-level A3, there damping is excellent, which means that the A4 strikes a good balance when it comes to the quality of the ride that it delivers.

As with other models in the Audi A Series, there array of engines is fantastic; however, the most popular engine choice for the A4 is more than likely to be the 2.0-litre TDI, which is a more than worthy choice due to its impressive array of capabilities - there's plenty of power in display, but the engine is also quiet and refined enough to keep in line with the luxury theme. Other engines that are on offer include a 1.8-litre turbo petrol, as well as V6 diesel and petrol power plants.

Although Audi have gone for a slightly more sporty appearance with the A4, it is still undeniably a member of the A series. This may have been an attempt to turn the A4 into a vehicle that is as desirable as the BMW 3-series, and if it was then Audi have certainly seem some degree of success with their choices.

Although Audi have played it relatively safe by enhancing their design, the end product has payed off for them. The A4 has a roomy interior, top quality cabin and spacious boot; it's build and drive quality are second to none and Audi have succeeded in helping the model catch up with their rivals BMW.
