At the VW Ehra-Lessien proving ground, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has set the new production car land speed record with a smashing number. Hitting 267 mph, the new Bugatti world record thrashed the previous 256.23 mph time set by the SSC Ultimate Aero in Nevada back in 2007.
